1965

  • July 19, 1965

    The Andres Soriano Memorial School

    1965 – 1993 - The School was subsidized by Atlas Consolidated Mining and Development Corporation (ACMDC).
    1965 – 2000 - The De La Salle Brothers supervised ASMS.

  • 1972

    The IGE and PAASCU

    1972 ASMS adopted the Individually Guided Education (IGE), which has become the school’s system of pedagogy until its modification in the 90’s.
    1978 to 2010 - The High School Department has been accredited by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU).
    1980 to 2010 - The Grade School Department has been accredited by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU).

2000s

  • July 3, 2006

    The De La Salle Andres Soriano Memorial College

    2000 - ASMS was granted College status, hence the name, Andres Soriano Memorial College (ASMC).
    2001 – 2005 - DE LA SALLE AFFILIATE status was granted by the De La Salle Brothers of the Philippine District through the Lasallian Schools Supervision Service Association, Inc. (LASSSAI).
    July 3, 2006 - DLSASMC was formally accepted and proclaimed a District School of De La Salle Philippines. Appointment of Dr Nonita Legaspi as the First School President
    2006 up to present - The school is named as De La Salle Andres Soriano Memorial College (DLSASMC) as one of the District Schools of De La salle Philippines

  • 2000s

    The Inauguration of St. John Baptist de La Salle Statue

    July 13-19, 2015 - The school celebrated its Golden Anniversary.
    June 2016 - The school started to offer the Senior High School Curriculum Program.
    February 6 – 7, 2017 - The school passed the Basic Education PAASCU Re-Accreditation.
    May 2017 - Appointment of Mme. Ma. Donitha C. Hernando as the First School Chancellor
    September 8, 2018 - The school promenade and the statue of St. John Baptist De La Salle was inaugurated.

2020

  • March 2020

    The Learning Continues in the Virtual Room: Flexible Lasallian Instruction Program (FLIP) amidst pandemic


    2019-2020 - The Board of Trustees appointed Mme. Evelyn A. Cimafranca as Officer In-charge (OIC)
    September 2019 - DLSASMC hosted the visit of the Relic of St. John Baptist de La Salle.
    • End of SY 2019-2020 - Community Quarantine measures were set in place because of Covid-19.
    2020-2021 - The Board of Trustees appointed Mme. Evelyn A. Cimafranca as OIC-President DLSASMC adopted new learning modalities under the Flexible Lasallian Instruction Program (FLIP) which was coined by the School Chancellor, Mme Ma. Donitha C. Hernando.

    The Third School President and the First School Chancellor


    June 2021 - The Board of Trustees appointed Mme. Ma. Donitha C. Hernando as OIC-President.
    June 2022 - The Board of Trustees appointed Mme. Ma. Donitha C. Hernando as School President and Chancellor. She carries the distinction as the Third School President and the First School Chancellor
    August 2022 - DLSASMC adopted Hybrid learning and started welcoming back students onsite.
    August 2023 - DLS ASMC has resumed full onsite classes
    February 2024 - DLSASMC undergone another PAASCU Re-accreditation.
